| These are the 'Old Castle Steps' near the Prague Castle leading back down into the city. I had to run down these steps, which is probably some kind of sin in Prague, or at least brings you bad luck, because I was in such a hurry to catch my train at 1:15 to go home. But I stopped long enough to take this picture. | |

The 'Museum' Metro (subway) station in Prague. The Prague subway rocks. I liked the Russian subway cars better than the German ones I ride in Frankfurt. In Prague you get to sit facing eachother on either side of the car, like in an army truck. This gives you a better vantage point to watch the other subway riders. I was always on the lookout ... you never know when there might be a thief standing next to you. Or a lost tourist who really needs help. |
